Attitude Of Gratitude – Let’s Exercise This Everyday
I want to wish you and your families a wonderful Thanksgiving day. Thank you all for your wonderful comments and praises. Although this blog is new, your support has been overwhelming and I pray that you and your families continue to focus and prosper in this fabulous industry.
Remember all, were giving thanks not only for the blessings we’ve been given or have presently but what has yet to come. Keep your thoughts positive as well as your heart, mind and soul full of Gratitude. Don’t just keep this attitude of gratitude for one day out of the year but everyday for the rest of your life.
How Can I Focus My Attitude Of Gratitude Every Day Of My Life?
I know, I know. Everyday day! This is easier said than done! But if you truly want to be successful in anything you do in this life, you must work on this a little each day until it becomes second nature. For example, I’m a bit of a gym rat but I don’t do more than 1 hour a day and I take Sunday’s off. Their’s a certain way I like to look and I know that if I don’t consistently take that daily action, I will not see any results in 90, 120 or 150 days later. I’m thankful every day that I can get up in the morning, do my workout and have the energy and a clear mind to take on whatever the day throws at me. I’m grateful to God for my family, friends, my business and another day of life that will get me closer to my goals!
So think of Gratitude as a muscle that needs to be worked on every day! Here’s an exercise for you. Write down 10 things that you have to be grateful for that bring you peace and happiness. I’ll share mine with you as an example.
- Praising God
- Being goofy with my son
- Jackie
- Family
- Lifting weights
- Swimming
- Singing (you won’t see me in American Idol but I still enjoy singing! LOL!)
- Dancing (won’t be in Dancing with the Stars either!)
- Socializing
- Sunshine
You get the idea. So make your list. Put it in your wallet or purse and take it with you wherever you go. Having a bad moment, pull out you list and remind yourself of the things your grateful for ( I wouldn’t advise doing this if your driving, ha, ha). My networking brothers and sisters, we’re only on this planet for a short period of time, please keep the following in mind.
- Let Joy overcome Sadness
- Let Love overcome Anger
- Let Bravery overcome Fear
- Let Humility overcome Pride
In closing, I wanted to share a few Bible versus that really speak to me not only for Thanksgiving but for every day of my life.
“God richly gives us everything to enjoy.” I Timothy 6:17 NCV
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above…” James 1:17 KJV
“My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to Him.” Psalm 28:7 NIV
Change your thoughts and you’ll change the path of your life. So please think and choose positively so you may have a joyful and abundant life. Whether you agree with it or not, we’re all subject to God’s Law of Attraction. Please him first and do the right thing in everything you do and let him handle the rest.
Once again Happy Thanksgiving, have a safe and restful holiday and be in Gratitude forever.
Blessing and Prosperity To You All
